Historical Road kkh Karakoram Highway Northern areas of Pakistan History.

#Highway_Karakorum
 Just ...  Not a road!
 …………
Construction of this grand road began in 1966 and was completed in 1978.

The total length of the Karakorum highway is 1,300 km, of which 887 km is in Pakistan and 413 km is in China.  The highway starts from Hassan Abdal in Pakistan and passes through Haripur Hazara, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Basham, Dasu, Chalas, Joglot, Gilgit, Hunza Nagar, Sost and Khunjerab pass to Kashgar, China.

The construction of this road has shocked the world ... because for a time the world's largest companies have been unable to do so.
An eminent European company had made the construction impossible after the aerial survey.  Despite the severity of the weather, the heavy snowfall and the dangers of land sliding, the construction of this road, however, is a wonder that was made possible by Pakistan and China together.

According to a survey, 810 Pakistanis and 82 Chinese lost their lives in the construction.  According to the report, 8,000 tonnes of dynamite was used to crush the hard and rocky chest of the Karakorum highway, and 30 million cubic meters of rocky mountains were cut down to the finish.

Our four friends took the privilege of traveling a few days ago from Khunjerab Pass to Hassan Abdal on the Pakistani 810-kilometer stretch of the highway that was the best trip of our lives.
What is this highway?  Just wondering!
Something charming, somewhere mysterious, somewhere calm, you make loud noises, ask questions, answer questions ...

This road contains hundreds of stories of love, hate, fear, backwardness and growth stories inside of us !!
 I read that somewhere
"Revolution comes through the path of thought, but Gilgit-Baltistan revolution is on the road."

When traveling on the highway, your curiosity grows. Ever curious to see what is beyond the mountains, ever curious to know what it was like when there was no road.  How was  Ever curious to hear the stories of people who lived for centuries along the same road, curious to know the history of the Indus River, stoned along the road !!

The starting point of the Karakorum highway is in Hazara District, where lush greenery and baroque valleys support you to "Thakot".
From Thakot, the Indus, which runs along the Indus River, runs along the Karakoram to Juglot, then turns to Skardu.
After Thakot, the region of Kohistan begins where the rivers of water descending from high altitudes play an important role in making the journey memorable and interesting.
The Chalas District is an important area of Dia Mir, also known as the Gilgit Baltistan Gate.  Glass can also be accessed from Baba Head Top by Naran.  After the glass, the Karakorum highway begins to roam around Nanga Parbat and then the Rai Kot bridge arrives. This is the place from which ferry jeeps and jeeps meet at Nanga Parbat base camp.

After Rai Kot, the Nanga Parbat, the Indus River and the Karakorum Highway become a sensational combination that forces tourists to remain silent for some time.

After that the Gilgit division begins, after which the first important place comes to Juggalot. From Jiglot, the route goes to Astor, Desai and Skardu.  Another highlight of the Juggalot is that here the three largest mountain ranges in the world are the Himalayas, the Koh Hindukush and the Karakorum, and there is no place in the world where the three major streams converge.

After the juggernaut the city of Gilgit, the headquarters of the Northern Territories, begins, which is prominent in terms of commercial, political and social characteristics.  Naphtar, Ashkumon, Ghazar and Shandur etc. are taken by jeep from here.
Beyond Gilgit begins the area of Nagar which is known as Rakash Poshi Peak.

You will find a view of this beautiful and divine peak at the Karakoram highway.
Nagar and Hunza highway are located on both sides of Karakorum.  Coming here, the beauty of the Karakorum is in full swing. I do not think that a tourist arrives at this place on the highway and will be surprised by his fingers in his teeth.  "Paso Konz" is a good example of this.

The area of Hunza and Nagar is very beautiful.  High peaks, glaciers, waterfalls and rivers are the highlight of this area.  The area is surrounded by rocky slopes, Ultar, Batura, Kanyangshu, Dastagil Tir and Pasu.
There is also an artificial but very charming lake, 21 km long by the name of Attabad, which came into being from the fall of the mountain.
The Hunza area is known for its "slow" Pak-China trade and is a market for imported Chinese goods.
After the slowdown, the Karakorum Highway comes to Khunjrab, the last stop in Pakistan.
The area from dull to dank is composed of uninhabited, rocky mountains and steep climbs.  The Karakorum highway at Khunjerab Pass is 4,693 meters high, making it the highest highway in the world.  The unique animals of the world are found in the dungeon, including marcupolo sheep, snow leopards, marmot, bears, yaks, marchers, and blue cows.
That is why Khanjerab has got the status of National Park.

On this road you get to see all sorts of geological landscapes including lush mountains as well as rocky and barren mountain ranges and endless snowy peaks, rivers, waterfalls, pastures and glaciers that not only make your trip beautiful but also your heart.  They have a profound effect on the brain.

The Karakorum Highway is not just a road, it is the eighth wonder in the world.
It is the epitome of civilization, it is a backward departure.  It is a tool to quench the thirst for thousands of tourists every year.  It is a symbol of love and friendship.  This is the line from the blood of hundreds of laborers who drove the entire Gil git-Baltistan from darkness to the journey of the lights.

Of course ...  This # highway is a # highway.
